To get this one solved, I had to engage Claire-en mode. I demanded to speak to a manager. When the first person wouldn’t call a manager, I hung up and called again.

Clear my cookies? How dare you!
Clear my cookies?! Are you seriously suggesting that I log in to all those sites again, AND go through the trials of 2 factor identification on every single one? It isn’t an exaggeration to say that will ruin my life for the next month. I’ve worked hard in my career for this level of credibility.
