My boss is a jerk. What should I do?

Your boss is an asshole. 

And no one cares.

Think about the worst boss you’ve ever had. 

Not your current one; one from your past.

If you’ve never had a bad boss before (bless you!), think of an asshole teacher or professor. Doesn’t matter.

Do you still think about that person?

What do you think about the past version of You who was under their control compared to the You who’s looking back today?

Could you fix that bad boss?

Would you bother fixing them if you could?

Or are you just glad you’re out and no longer have to put up with that person’s crap?

In most cases, your boss wasn’t evil. You just didn’t get along. Good thing you don’t have to anymore.

Even if your boss did do something super illegal, you don’t always get justice. 

Even if you did get justice, it doesn’t undo the awful thing that happened to you.

It’s better to get out of the situation. Keep the awful thing from happening in the first place.
